I have purchased my Note9 a week ago, and I am already experiencing issues with pairing to bluetooth devices.
I cannot connect the media bluetooth with my car, Skoda Superb 2014. With iPhone7 & Honor9 there has never been such issues with the same car.
Clearing the cache or other tricks mentioned here do not work, so the issue need to be fixed for real.
Samsung has had these major bluetooth issues ongoing for years, and with Note9 from the very beginning of delivery. There has been no fix for it since, so the possibility of Samsung carrying responsibility on this seem minimal. There are journals about this as well:

Unluckily for me, I did not do a proper research before my purchasing decision, instead I reviewed the (paid) youtube reviews and website comparisons.
The consumer understanding at this point is that Samsung does not have enough pride over the product or work ethic to carry the responsibility for such issues. In addition, the customer communication is below accepted level (you may review this thread as an example). It seems the aim is to play time and forget such problems, sweep them under the rug, and focus on the new models to come. An honest "we will not have a solution" would be appreciated so people could return the non-functioning products in time.
Should there be no fix within a couple of weeks, for me it is obvious the phone will be returned and replaced with iPhone X. It is not as versatile, but the basic functions work. There is no use for this phone if the bluetooth does not work properly, it is a major part of the phones use.
I do not encourage intimidation; it is just my personal call to be sensible to return an unfunctioning phone within the return period and get a working one in return. I would rather have the Note9 fixed, as it seems really nice otherwise.
