Note 9 shutting down/restarting

My phone started to shut down/restarting after I installed Android 10. I've tried clearing the cache partition, uninstalled a few apps, even turned off fingerprint unlocking, this worked for a while but it started again. Does anyone have a solution?

Re: Note 9 shutting down/restarting

Hi @userpsW4CzEokn

So here are a few steps you can try, if not tried already, to try to resolve your issue.

Reboot in Safe Mode:

-Turn the device off

-Press and hold the Power key past the model name screen appearing on the screen.

-When SAMSUNG appears on the screen, release the Power key.

-Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.

-Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.

-When Safe mode appears in the bottom left corner of the screen, release the Volume down key

Reset all settings:

-From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.

-Tap Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset settings.

-If you have set up a PIN, enter it.

-The device will restart to perform the reset of settings

Delete system cache:

-Turn off the device.

-Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.

-When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.

-An ‘Installing system update’ message will show for 30 – 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.

-Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.

-Press Power key to select.

-Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.

-When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.

-Press the Power key to restart the device

Hope this bit of info helps in any way.

Re: Note 9 shutting down/restarting

I've tried everything, and the only think that seemed to work for just a half a day, was resetting the settings, with fingerprints on before it started shutting down and restarting again. With fingerprints off, the frequency of shutting down and restarting has decreased.
