Unlocked 128GB on T-Mobile, N960U1UES1ARH6, no option to record in phone settings. I installed a 3rd-party call-recording app and it puts an icon in the notification panel claiming to be recording during a call, but when I open the app afterward, I find that the recording has length zero.
It is not, I was watching YouTube videos and everything, but it seems like they fully disabled it. That comes in handy too, I am a Samsung Loyalist, but I am very disappointed.
I just got the update to baseband version N960U1UEU1ARJ5. Note 9 512GB, bought directly from Samsung, unlocked model. My third party app for phone call recording is still working flawlessly.
Yes, Call Recording is enabled in Note 9 N960FXXU1ARH5. Its 512GB variant and India version.
explained how to enable in this video https://youtu.be/51C2WEowPlA
FYI, this handset information
Android version : 8.1.0
Samsung Exp version : 9.5
Build Number: M1AJQ.N960FXXU1ARH5
Note: its still working in Note 9 and also Galaxy J6 64GB, India version.
Please someone explain, is it implemented by Android or Samsung ?
