Play Protect Device uncertified (unable to use Google Pay)

Hi,

I can't see and thus not download Google Pay in the Playstore-app. I searched for solutions but nothing works so far, hopefully someone here can help.

I think the problem is that I see 'Device uncertified' in the settings of the Playstore-app. But why is my device not certified??? I manually added my GSF-no to the appropriate google database but that didn't help either.

I have a regular phone, NOT rooted. Software is up to date, Playstore too. Nothing in beta. Why is my device uncertified?? I didn't buy such an expensive phone to get such problems 😉

Please help, thanks!!

Tried chat but that didn't help, they don't help customers who bought the product in the Caribbean. What would be a better option?
