Hello , i have been having this problem for about 4 months where my Note 9 is displaying the phone temperature too high message ans asking me to unplug the charger. The phone is at room temperature and not even overheated and still am receiving this message which results in me waiting for the battery to drain completely as it displays the same message even if i wait for 15-30 mins.
Good morning! Have you tried any troubleshooting steps, such as clearing the cache partition?
Turn off the device.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
An ‘Installing system update’ message will show for 30 – 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
Press the Power key to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
Press the Power key to restart the device.
Clear the cache partition does not delete your information. It would only clear any corrupt files that may be cached on the phone. Was the factory reset done since this issue began?
I tried wiping cache partition but its still the same
Here is a screenshot of the problem , this message pops up and it stops charging , i have to wait another 30 mins and it charges up to 40% and displays the message again
Its been atleast 2 months since this is happening and i can't even full charge it
