Samsung seems to have it out for group messages.  First they mess up the individual text message tones.  Then they come up with this poor substitute for custom tones by assigning the tone to the message thread requiring you to maintain those messages forever, and now you have to delete the messages to get them to work right.  Why do they keep messing up our text messages???

My fiance and I had this group text issue, where it doesnt let you reply. We had to delete the conversation completely and restart it.

We are also noticing that our texts no longer say delivered/read. All of our settings are still correct.

I had success using someone's suggestion of deleting the group conversation and starting a new one. It worked for now!
