App notification settings change to app default values in Note 10 plus

I noticed whatsapp and microsoft teams notification settings change to app default values randomly in Galaxy Note 10 plus. I set group notifications in Whatsapp and Microsoft Teams to mute (no sound) both in app and in the settings page and still they randomly change to app-default values
