Has anyone besides me noticed that the camera in low light has a lot of rainbow fuzz when you're capturing? This problem doesn't exist on live focus settings so it has to be a software thing, right?

Lol, took me a sec to realize what you meant until i read the title :) .

Unless im wrong, OP means photos taken in low light contain an excess amount of chrominance noise except for when theyre taken in live focus mode.

Live focus works by adding a background blur around the subject so it could be that with low light, its more difficult for the camera app to find a subject and so it considers everything in view to be the background -> which is blurred in live focus mode. (cleaning up the noise by blurring it)

Has this behavior always been the case?
(I do not have a Note 10 so i cannot test it for myself :/)
OR
Did this begin after installing One UI 3 to your device?

I only recently started using the cam in low light, so I've never noticed it before, but the chrominance noise is pretty bad.
