When I select the more (three vertical dots) there is no "Messages for Web" option so I'm not sure how to do it. I have all of the latest updates installed

Make sure that you are using the Google Messages app not the Samsung Messages app. The icons are somewhat similar. The Samsung Messages app icon is a message bubble with 3 dots. The Google Messages app icon is a message buble with horizontal lines.
