Defective replacement/refund

New note 10 was received on 8/4/20. Everything else was okay but it wasn't making calls, only functioned correctly after I restart the phone every time it happened. I troubleshooted everything with my carrier for 7days but it wasn't their problem. I then contacted Samsung tech who advised me to receive new replacement phone since it was within 15 days warranty period but the sales department didn't want to replace it nor did they want to return my emaculately kept and in pristine condition S9 trade-in phone. They want me return my defective note 10 to get a full refund. In the meanwhile, they suggest I should buy new note 10 if i don't to be without a phone while I wait to get a full refund. Big problem with that is that I will not be able use any of promotional code I used to purchase originally. If this doesn't get resolved reasonably, I will not stay quiet.
