I installed a UniqueMe film protector on one of my Note10+. Clarity is good quality, good quality overall. Sadly, there was a solid noticeable delay on the scanner. The stock protector is still on my other Note10+ and that scanner is working perfectly, minimal to no delay as far as I'm concerned.
What protector are you using currently? Additionally, have you removed the stock protector that comes pre-installed?
Is the entire glass adhesive, or only the edges?
Can you help us out on this one? I know you have experience with WhiteStone
In my experience, the only tempered glass screen protector that works well is the Whitestone Dome Glass. Even then, it's hit or miss getting the Ultrasonic Fingerprint scanner to work. While installing the glass, it is important to follow the instructions precisely.
Also, I'd recommend turning on the displays extra sensitivity option. This can be found in: Settings>Display>Touch sensitivity. (This should help.)
Non full adhesive protectors will likely never work well and should be avoided.
I hope you find this information useful.
I just got my note 10(standard size) in the mail yesterday, and everything has been great....except this God awful fingerprint reader....
I even did the software update which listed the fingerprint reader for updated. I set my both thumbs twice each, and then even wiped and reset them again.
I am using the stock screen protector with increased sensitivity enabled too.
I came from the s9+ anyone else having this issue ?
