I just got my note 10(standard size) in the mail yesterday, and everything has been great....except this God awful fingerprint reader....
I even did the software update which listed the fingerprint reader for updated. I set my both thumbs twice each, and then even wiped and reset them again.
I am using the stock screen protector with increased sensitivity enabled too.
I came from the s9+ anyone else having this issue ?
Truly amazingly awful fingerprint recognition on this very expensive device. I probably get about 10% succeess.
SAMSUNG: will you be doing anything with software to make this even slightly better?? Or is this just what happens when we get the benefit of new front screen tech?

I returned my defective Note 10+ because of the scanner.
We should not tolerate having to be beta testers. If Samsung wants to send me a Note 10+ to test and let the phone be payment, I am willing to be a beta tester. But don't expect ne to pay $1,300 and be one.
