Note 10 Plus 5G, on my second phone with the same set of problems as the first one returned.
For a $1300 state of the art phone, I expected a lot less disappointment. I don't know how Samsung released this phone with so many problems.
I had the same issue with mine and the Samsung rep was very rude and unhelpful. After speaking and more experimental testing with Verizon again we were able to find out the phone does not read the 4G signal correctly when on a 5G capable plan. We changed my plan to a regular unlimited plan and everything worked fine. Verizon is switching me from my $1300 doorstop to the Note 10+ without the 5G. I am on a regular unlimited plan while I wait the 2 days my replacement phone. I had 3 of these phones and they all had the same issue and then issue got progressively worse as time went by. 2 and a half months of an improperly working over priced phone. I was tempted to switch to a different brand of phone.
Same issue here, I'm on my second phone now, both Samsung note 10 plus 5g, phone is extremely slow with anything related to connectivity, internet, and GPS, for a 1300$, this is not cool, money doesn't grow in trees and it's really hard to earn and I get this not working 1300$ cellphone from Tmobile, looks like I'll have to downgrade to a regular note 10 plus
Same here I have found out through repair service that the 5g version doesn't work well with 4g because the anttennas are setup to work on 5g network and don't work well if at all with 4g. In short we basically got had. I called Samsung they won't do anything because technically in they're words it's not broken. If the phone doesn't work how it's supposed to that by definition to me is faulty. They basically have marketed a phone on a network that is barely up and running and even in the places where it is running it's far from working well. This is basically a way to rip people off in my personal opinion. You shouldn't be selling a product if it's not 100% working they basically have scammed people out of $1200 for a phone that won't work on the network that is setup or the one they're trying to setup.
Same issues here with my new 5g note 10 plus.
Using it in Dubai on the Etisalat network. Right now I'm carrying 2 phones to use internet in places there is no 5g coverage. Never would have purchased this phone if I knew it would have trouble connecting to 4g or LTE
Thank you for that information. This is a U.S. based forum and to get this issue resolved you will have to go to the region of origin of where the device was purchased. Here's a link to get to the correct forum. http://www.samsung.com/visitcountry
I was fortunate enough that Verizon switched me to the 4g version this sat, and what a surprise now it works like a charm. I like samsung products but this experience has left me fairly angry, I def will not be purchasing any more samsung products in the future.
