My Note 10+ crashes and restarts when using the Ring app and selecting "live view" in my own LAN wireless network. This doesn't happen when I select the same option in somebody else's Network outside of my house. Wondering if anybody else has this issue with the Ring app.

Yea!!! Thank God. Last week's ring app update fixed this Note 10+ problem of restarting my Note 10+!! Case closed! Update the Ring app.

Hey there!
Thanks for reaching out. Have you tried resetting your network settings?
Navigate to your settings > about phone > reset > reset network settings.
See if that helps.

Tried this. Didn’t work so I tried wiping the system cashe. No luck!!

My note 10 plus does the same thing. Go to ring live view, shows frozen video for 10 seconds and hard crashes my phone. Phone just restarts all by itself. I was away from my house both times when this happened on Verizon network.

That is very odd. It works just fine for me on my Note 10+.
Have you tried it while booted in safe mode?

Safe mode is not a mode i'm going to use my phone so no. I reset network settings and wiped system cashe and no cigar...

Safe Mode is a mode used for troubleshooting purposes only. It's not intended for permanent use. Safe mode will tell you if an issue is hardware or software related in most cases.

I started in Safe mode. You can't run 3rd party apps in Safe Mode!! Nice thought. Someone help!!

No change after uninstalling and reinstalling the app as well? Do any other apps cause your phone to crash like this, or is it just the Ring App?
