Received my Note 10 on August 21. Used the s-pen a few times to check it out. A week ago, I try taking it out and the thing is stuck. Realize that the clicker part of the s-pen is no longer clicking out - so i can't grab it to pull it out. I eventually get it out with a straw and confirm that the clicker is no longer clicking.
Great. Well it's well under warranty and this defect should be covered right?
I start the live chat. After some questions, the CSR says I should take it in to a service center. The nearest service center to me is 90 miles away. I'm not wasting a day driving around for 3+ hrs because of THEIR defective product. I ask why I can't just exchange it. She goes away for 5 mins.
Comes back with "warranty doesn't cover physical damage, just defects."
After clarifying that it is indeed a defect she goes away again. Comes back with OK never mind you can send it in.
Great, can I send in just the s-pen?
"No, you have to send in the device"
"Oh let me check I'll be back"
"You have to send it in because it's stuck in your phone"
IT'S NOT STUCK IN MY PHONE THE CLICKER IS BROKEN
Samsung, is this the best you can do??? Might as well just return the whole phone at this point.
