Samsung will send out updates to phones once those phones are available for updates.
Regarding the charging port, does it say fast charging when you charge the device? Are you using a fast charger to charge the device? Thanks
Id love to assist you with your charging issue. If you have tried the wireless charger with multiple chargers (hopefully Samsung certified not third party) then I suggest trying to charge the device wired. If it charges without issue wired then the issue is stemming from the wireless charger. If it still does not charge wired then it would need to be inspected by your local samsung facility for possible repairs. Please contact 1-800-Samsung to find out what is your closest facility for service you main be having an issue with your main motherboarding reading the charger.
