Unbelievable changes to app pair| Android 11 One UI 3.0

The splitscreen doesn't work as it did before! I used to be able to use another app while using the app pair by switching the bottom app to look up something, but it just treats it as one sole app and just exits out of the show I was watching on Hulu on the top screen. It'd be easier if Hulu's android app has picture-in-picture, but it doesn't. If anyone from Samsung is listening, please change this back so I could use my phone the way I like.
