Video calls on my Note 10+ aren't enabled. What gives?!

Video calls on my Note 10+ aren't enabled. What gives?! Is this a configuration issue or something affected by my carrier?

Thank you for reaching out. Are you using an unlocked device?

I have an unlocked note 10+ purchased from Samsung online and I have the same issue. I am using Att as my cell provider. Any advice?

The unlocked devices don't have it. I use Google Duo and it does the same job

If device was purchased unlocked(not attached to any carrier) then some carrier features won't work.  Video call is one of them, VoLTE, Advanced messaging, so not all carriers will support all features on unlocked models

@KaiserSoszay I recommend reaching out to your carrier due to Video Calling is a carrier specific feature.

If you bought it from Sprint, try contacting them about this.  Their tech support should walk you through some steps.

Unfortunately carriers bend the knee to Apple and let them do whatever. I wish that was the case with Samsung as well. Most of the android based phones are loaded with apps that you don't need. Carriers limit what android phones can do because they can get away with it. The video call feature isn't that great through carriers anyway. Google Duo is better in my opinion. Factory unlocked phones is the way to go if you can afford it.
