2 days in a row. I missed a call from 888# shortly after, all outgoing calls direct to the 888#. Tech helped yesterday and it happened again today. I finally called that # but they asked for so much info I finally hung up. Is this a bug or a scam?

Scam
I've never heard of an 888# number.
General rule, if a unsolicited call comes from a business, even one the you do business with, never call them back on the number they leave, but call them back on their regular business number. If it was them, there should be a record of the call attempt in their system and why they called.
