Black Dot On Top Screen

My note 20 updated and now it will not allow me to remove the black dot on the screen.  Why did you remove the feature where this could be removed. This is an expensive phone and this needs to be taken care if immediately.

what black dot exactly? are you referring to the camera hole?

I think the OP is referring to the option to hide the camera cutout (when it puts a black bar at the top of the screen). It is gone in the latest update, yes. No idea why:(
