I was sitting on a box on my back concrete patio when my phone (with a slim TPU case on it) fell out of my pocket onto the top right corner, then fell face down.

This drop was not more than 12 inches off the ground.  The screen cracked from the right top side to just above the front facing camera!

I thought this glass had a drop rating of 6 feet?!  This is the first time I've had a broken glass screen ever!  And I've had drops from 3 times that height.   Now I have a 300.00 repair cost for a 1300.00 phone with inferior glass.   Sad state of affairs Samsung...

Every generation of samsung comes with mysterio cracks appearing without being dropped. Or dropped at 1 feet and screen cracked, or the best one being, I had the phone in my pocket and it just cracked by itself. Sorry I shouldn't be laughing. But like the other guy said glass is glass no matter how samsung or their buddy corning spin it with marketing garbage.

Laying in bed and my note slipped out of my hand on to my plastic tv remote, hit next to volume up button shatted and now spider webbing out.... had this phone less than a month and a plastic remote from 6ins destroys it. I had my s9 plus for years and I've dropped and banned that phone around (i work construction) maybe i shouldn't have spent $1300 on a more fragile phone... i know im not going get any help from samsung they already got their money

I'm already on my 3rd note 20 ultra broke screen by sitting lightly on the first perched on the edge of a cushioned recliner, really never applied enough pressure to have cracked the screen, second one I'll admit I'm a fool for taking these almost water proof phones in the shower (got a huge tiled top to bottom 2 person shower) well you can guess what happened to number 2 (also #2 had no case at all) face first on to tile at i guess 2.5-3ft bottom half of screen instantly blacked out no water damage but this still was one that was definitely my fault. Earlier tonight right after getting done with dinner walk into bedroom toss phone on the bed and by toss I mean less then 2 ft toss more of a drop before I bent over to take off shoes and heard it tap a plastic toy didn't think anything of it continued changing and when I picked it back up before getting into bed I've got an unresponsive screen it is somewhat working now. cracked all the way across with a mess up in the lcd literally looks just as bad as the one I dropped face first onto the tile of the shower. I'm gonna have to agree with someone else's post on here about the s9+ had 3 of them ever since they came out and I'm very rough on my phones its a lot more fragile than it should be in my opinion, which everyone has one I also just want it to be known that people are seeing these phones break a little more than they should. Also we are awaiting my wife's second note 20 ultra from were she broke hers the other day this will only be her second but it has been broken for over a month now on the back she just broke the front the other day and its not working correctly so paying for another one for 300 im going to have paid double what the phone cost in insurance claims before the first year of owning it is up. sorry for the rant BTW phone was in a latercase when tossed on bed also wife's was in TPU clear case when broken the second time the first time was in a smoke grey tpu case. all I wanted to put out there is I've dropped an s9+ and broken s9+'s enough to be able to confirm that the note 20 ultra is definitely a more delicate phone I like it its just a lot more delicate like I said.

I traded up from the note 10+ to the note 20 ultra. 2 weeks later noticed a crack on my rear camera glass. very disappointed. contacted Samsung only to be told that physical damage is not covered by warranty. I have not dropped my phone. I had their rugged case on my phone and I'm very careful with it so it's not from a drop. wishing I would have kept my note 10+. had it more than a year with no incidents. starting to wonder if I should stop purchasing Samsung products. Quality customer care is very important to me

same here. the back glass has cracked twice on mine on its own without being dropped or anything. I just dropped a video on YouTube about it here:

First crack: Obvious inpact fracture.

Second crack: Likely caused by a non-approved party installing a third party back.

Not Samsungs fault.  Sorry I know how to watch videos, and know what I am looking at.

I agree with most. I've never had a cracked screen until this Ultra Note 20. Something has changed and they should fix it... This phone has turned into a money pit with 4 breaks. The most recent break was caused when I fumbled it across a hotel nightstand trying to answer the phone. Unreal

my note 20 ultra has never been dropped and noticed two deep scratches within weeks of purchasing and now glass covering camera is cracked. again, never dropped. this glass is weak. had my s7 egde and s9+ each for two years plus and never had an issue. when i reached out to samsung they sent a link to pay hundreds of dollars to repair. no help at all. i have spent easily $10k+ on samsung products and first time ive had a issue but they're response/lack of help is going to drive me back to apple and ive been a happy loyal samsung customer for a very long time, its sad love the phone but the glass is not as advertised. i would avoid if considering a new phone!
