GDMSS app no longer working unless on wifi

My gdmss app for my cctv cameras has stopped working on my note 20 plus when i am on mobile data.

I know that this is not an app problem because it still works ok on wifi and still works on my wifes note 8.

the equivalent idmss works fine on the iphone.

I have had this problem since the last samsung update.

Samsung development needs to address this issue as there are probably a lot of people like myself who need to access their business cctv.

I have been a samsung note user since the note 4, but If this issue is to be ignored by samsung, then I will probably switch to another brand of phone...

I recommend that you reach out to the developer of the app to resolve this issue. You will be able to find their contact information in the play store.

Samsung has no control over third party app, so cannot fix this. 

Check your app settings, as there is likely an option in the app to only allow connectivity via WiFi, that can be turned off.  Like it likely is set this way on your wife's phone, and the iPhone it is installed on.

Yeah, not sure if you read my post correctly...

It's not a matter of samsung having control of an app.

The settings on the app have never been changed throughout all my samsung phones and has worked fine..

and, as you say, samsung have no control over the app so the app settings should not have changed should they.

And Any setting that has changed on the phone is a direct result of the last samsung update.
