My Samsung galaxy note 20 is sending multiple of the same message I am texting in. Its happening almost every text I send. I contacted support and reset connection settings, cleared my messages cache, and restarted my phone. It still is doing it and im really frustrated because it's annoying the people I am texting since they keep getting 2 or 3 of the same text.
Update: I turned off advanced messaging and I think it fixed it but I dont want to keep it off. Please keep me updated in the comment section about this! I'll keep updating this regularly!
Also having the same issue. I thought it was due to a recent trip through 5G areas and then poor service areas. But we are home now and it's still doing it. S20 Note Ultra, also on AT&T.
Same issue. On att and noticed this started happening more when I was "upgraded" to "5g". But the past week it has been doing it consistently with every text. I have tried clearing cache, rebooting, shutting down all together, force stop etc etc. It spins for a while and when it does send they get it 2x. Or I get the message it failed but they really got it. So frustrating and it's driving me and everyone I text crazy! Note 20 ultra 5g - on ATT. Please help!
Right there with all of you! It is so frustrating. Ever since upgrading to the S21+, I feel like I have sooo many more issues. Guess I will try and turn off Advanced Messaging. ugh!
I am having the same issue. I have an S9+ and am also on AT&T. I was thinking maybe I needed to upgrade to a newer phone, but clearly that isn't going to solve anything! I hope this gets resolved soon as the duplicate messages are supremely annoying.
