Galaxy note 20 ultra aod question

I noticed a white bar of light at the bottom of the screen on the always on display on the Galaxy note 20 Ultra and I was wondering if this was normal or if I should go change the phone

My note 20 ultra doesn't have a white bar on my always on display, maybe try changing the clock style.

It's on your home screen as well its just pretty transparent.

No no, when I put the AOD on max brightness there's a bit of white light coming from the bottom of the screen, instead of keeping everything fully black like on the previous brightness level where the AOD is visible and everything else looks black with no extra light. You can only see it in pitch darkness try it out

Hey, I know it's an old post but were you able to figure out why it's doing this? I'm having the same issue but on my phone the light comes from the top and gradually fades as it goes downward. Same as you, if I reduce the brightness to any other level the extra light goes away. It returns as soon as I put the brightness back up to max.

Not so far, the white bar goes away when you put it on the lower brightness setting like you. I was hoping a software update would fix it, but after updating to Android 11 it didn't go away and now the main camera lens won't focus correctly.

hey I know this was a while ago but I sent the phone to Samsung through the warranty and they sent me a new phone. I believe the defect was called a black spot on the LCD screen. Even though on the Samsung ticket or report whatever you want to call it, it said they were replacing the screen they ended up sending me a new phone because the autofocus didn't work either. So I advise you to get in contact with the warranty if you're still having an issue.

I just tried AOD issue on mine and it doesnt seem to happen on my deivce.

try download samsung members app and submit a ticket.
once you open, click +, then click error report with the photo so they know where the issue might be come from

Yeah I already did that and they told me to turn on and off my phone like a noob

Does this issue still persist when your phone is in safe mode?
