just go to Google play store search bar and tape "android system webview " find the one that is installed and unistall it. that's it and you phone should be work properly from there!

I tried this and got my apps to stop crashing but my apps still can't update and I can't install anything else

this is must be something else not the same issue! try to restart your phone.

Google has already replaced the buggy webview build. You can now safely reinstall or update Android system webview.

they did not fixed the bug yet the last update was yesterday (Mar 22 .2021) and that's what started this problem.
