Lock screen looks terrible

What's the point of having a big beautiful lock screen if Samsung is just going to cram everything into the top 20% and overlap everything

I mean this the best it looks. If I add other widgets or use the detailed notifications it even looks more ridiculous. Changing the clock to analog results in the notifications being written through the middle of the clock. 

Hopefully, I'm doing something wrong. To me I should be able to resize the lock screen widgets so they don't overlap. I don't know how Samsung releases something that's such a mess.

You can set it up the way you like. Not set in stone.

Are you using LockStar from the Good Lock app? Maybe you can fix it there
