Music share feature on Samsung Note disconnecting mid-song

I use the music share option on my Note 20 often and it has always worked fine until the recent update. Now it will stop and disconnect at random in mid-song. Sometimes it will last 3 minutes, sometimes 5 minutes but it always just disconnects without warning despite my phone and the other phone both have 'Never Disconnect' turned on.

We also suggest clearing the cache partition of the phone and selecting the Repair Apps option in the recovery menu, since the phone has just updated.
