When I try to connect my Windows laptop to my phones hotspot. It connects but say connected no internet. I reset the network settings and wiped cached partitions as well as repairing all apps but it still doesn't work. Anyone have any thoughts? It seems to be a Android 11 bug, because my hotspot worked great before the update.
I would try contacting your carrier to see if they can further assist you with mobile hotspot concerns. Due to Mobile Hotspot is a carrier-specific feature.
Hotspot was working fine before the update is nothing to do with the Carrier it's something with you guys you did something just to help those companies I was using my phone for everything wherever I go I always take my laptop with me in everything I do my work to my phone for the Internet now no more thanks to you
exactly, this REALLY messed up my plans. I am on a trip with phone, 5G, two laptops, an iPad, and now only the phone can access the Internet. Samsung, you should reimburse me for my traveling expenses at minimum.
Dude! It up my New Years Eve party cause i was the only one with a solid data connection and that was when i realized that the mobile hotspot is broken!
please stop this samsung jojo,the hotspot was working fine before the update and now no, even I took my sim from note 20 ultra to my wife note 10 plus and the hotspot is working fine, you guys are the worst the customer means money not to make your people happy, ill switch back to Iphone soon if they dont fix it, samsung became hungry like other compaines
Totally non-functional for me after this update. I tried multiple devices, none can use the hotspot now. with Samsung. I'm returning my Note 20 Ultra. Inexcusible incompetence.
