When I try to connect my Windows laptop to my phones hotspot. It connects but say connected no internet. I reset the network settings and wiped cached partitions as well as repairing all apps but it still doesn't work. Anyone have any thoughts? It seems to be a Android 11 bug, because my hotspot worked great before the update.
Glad i could help :D, i went the path of Googling for a way to bypass a carriers hotspot throttling and adding the ",dun" was a solution. Tried it out and to my surprise, it worked! Haha 🙂
It could be that your carrier has locked it. Are you able to view your current apn, scroll screenshot that entries, take out your sim card, reboot, (with the sim card still out), add a new apn (^ following the steps to add ",dun"), put your sim back in, reboot, and then select the new apn you created?
