I've had my Note20 Ultra for less than 8 months and it's utterly ridiculous and sad that I have to make a negative post. This was an high-end expensive investment when I purchased this phone. I waited for years to make this decision only to be disappointed! This is not cool! 

My complaint is the speakers on this phone. When I'm using the speaker option, it's difficult for the callers to hear and understand me. When I'm on a chat call (ZOOM, DUO, SKYPE, etc.), it's difficult for the callers to hear me. When I'm on a regular call, it's STILL difficult for the callers to hear me. I'M NOT HAPPY! And to top it off, I don't want to WASTE my time calling Tech Support because one, they don't give you the support you need, and two, they will try to send you a "refurbished" phone with the same problem. Yes, I'm highly upset! I don't like leaving negative comments, but I'm fed up with the speaker and sound quality of this phone that I'm stuck with and still paying for.

You could try removing any case you have installed.

@Carla7216 Just to be clear, if the other people can't hear you it could be due to a microphone issue not speaker issue.

 

If you were unable to hear them, it would be a speaker issue.

 

Speaker phone mode works great on my Note 20 Ultra. Perhaps you should try wiping the device cache partition. This could clear some corrupted setting which is causing this problem. 

 

The other possibility... If you have a case installed, it could be blocking the microphone.

If it's a microphone issue in the phone, how do you resolve the issue? I tried wiping the device cache several times already.

This might be the case if it wasn't happening before I ever had any case on it.  There is a problem with the phone and I want it fixed.  I have spoken and read forums that lots of people are having this issue.  I can hear them perfectly but who we are talking-to hears muffled speech.  I want this fixed, a new phone or money back on the phone.  This is the 3rd Note I have owned and went from a Note 3 to Note 5 to this and it just simply wrong.  I paid $200 for the other phones and this one was a fortune.  I never had a problem.  it is 3 months old from late December.2020.

how do you wipe the device cache partition?  What the heck is that?  I shouldn't have to do anything and this phone was ordered. Not off the shelf. from Best Buy.
