Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G [Unlocked] on US Cellular. Installed the latest security update (likely the July maybe June update) and that night on wired charger, the battery only maintained the current charge.

In the morning didn't notice the failure to charge until battery basically depleted. Had to use old wireless charger. Have tried using various Samsung chargers around household that worked as fast chargers before the update, but won't increase charge unless off and then only slowly. When on, the phone says "Fast Charging" on the various chargers but only maintains or slowly drains charge.

Samsung Members app reports no battery issue or charging cable issue.

Strange coincidence or broken in update? Anyone else experiencing?

I am having the same issue with the S20 Ultra. Only working with wireless charger. Tried the brick it came with, no good. Tried the 25 watt charging brick, not working. Tried charging with multiple bricks and cables with no charge. Wifes S20+ charges no problem on all bricks and cables

Ditto on it happening after update install?

I forgot to note the old wireless charger I have appears to work best and only when phone is off.

I am not sure. It has been happening for about 2 weeks for me. I just did the July and August system update hoping it would resolve the issue, but no luck.

UPDATE: I had the USB C port replaced with brand new OEM part from a WISE certified repair shop as i am no longer under warranty. I also factory reset my phone and neither of these solutions are working. It seems as if my USB C port has become completely disabled and wont register, that is until i got to work this morning and used an older samsung cable and block. I am unsure of the difference in cables, but my phone womt register any other 3rd party cables or a newer cable attached to the higher watt charging bricks as well as attaching to a computer. Samsung stated that I would have to send my phone in and they would charge me to fix it even though i have expressed that i have already had the necessary component replaced that would be malfunctioning and that it must be something within the software. Speculativly speaking, i have seen some posts about a headphone app rerouting the usb c input through an app or something like that, i didnt really understand what was described. Regardless, it appears to be a flaw in the system and not the hardware.

UPDATE: Re-flashed updates at Samsung authorized repair store, but still not working.

UPDATE 2: Samsung Care+/Asurion deductible free claim made for a replacement phone. This refurbished device does not have the problem. So final verdict: hardware issue caused a problem during update, I guess?

If that is the case, you should be entitled to a refund for your deductible as it is Samsung who is responsible for damaging your phone. I am currently on my second charging port and a new battery. Also, my vibration motor isn't functioning anymore as it is connected through the same board as the charging port. The repair shop stated that I was only getting about .5 amps with the new charging port. They are going to try new cables as a last attempt. If that doesn't work, then Samsung sold me a defective unit or the update somehow has made it defective. Again, this was random and we aren't the only people having issues. This was a problem in 2020 that was supposed to be fixed with an update, even though I didn't have the issue at that time.
