Hey Samsung,

When do you think you may be able to bring back IRIS scanning? Any chance it can be placed under the display or combined with the camera without loss of security?

With the slimming down of notches to almost non-existent it is highly unlikely the Iris scan function with return. Unless a new technology emerges .

I believe if anyone were to figure it out, it would be Samsung.

Please bring back iris scanning.

Iris unlocking is faster than facial recognition, more secure, works in the dark, regardless of wearing a mask, and usually regardless of wearing glasses.

Facial recognition does not work in the dark, or if wearing a mask,

Fingerprint recognition does not work with dry skin or gloves.

Dropping iris scanning is like getting a new 70" smart TV in 2021 that only supports 1080p. If people weren't using it, it's because they didn't know about it.
