S Pen will not connect

S Pen is showing not connected while in the housing. When taking the Pen out, will be recognized. Will not reconnect when using the notification either.

This is LONGHIKER's post to another user having the same issue in another post:

Try this:

- Open settings
- Click on Advanced Features
- Click on S-Pen
- Toggle the setting Keep S pen connected

So I lost my Spen and ordered a new one. It just arrived and it won't connect. Any suggestions?

Put the s pen into the slot. Make sure it clicks into place
Settings>advanced features> S pen>air actions>hamburger icon (three dots in the top right corner> reset s pen

Most likely dead "battery" (capacitor)

1) Which phone do you have?
2) Is the phone not recognizing the s-pen when it's inserted?
3) Is it the original s-pen?
Have you tried rebooting your phone with the s-pen inserted?
