Paid $1,300 for this phone. I see adverts for junk I'd never buy. Check the weather, oh an ad. Check Samsung Health, oh another ad.

I have no ads on mine that I see but I only use weather if you guys enabled Customization Service during initial setup. it says specifically that it will put customized ads on supported apps. try searching for customization service and turn it off for all six options that come up. hopefully it works.

When I moved to the N20 Ultra, I was careful *not* to enable what I consider to be potentially invasive services such as "customization service."

Still get ads. They simply are not targeted.

Go to Settings- Privacy and ensure you are not subscribed to the following. Receive Marketing Info, Customisation Service, Device Personalisation Service and Ads.

This is what I just did to workaround.

1. Open the Google app on your phone.

2. Type “weather” into the Google search box.

3. Tap the “Add” option shown in the box on top titled “Access weather instantly from your Home screen.” This will put a weather shortcut on your home screen.

4. Next we will add the Google Weather widget. Open Widgets and go to Google. Select, At a Glance.

5. Next remove the Samsung weather widget from your Home

I'm using the one from MyRadar app....but kudos...that is good advice to anyone!
