Samsung Pay in Egypt

I want to ask about Samsung Pay. It is not provided in Egypt. I have Samsung Note 20 Ultra, I downloaded it from Google Play (UK account) The Egyptian government announced that soon we will be able to use such payment methods. My question is, once we have this option, will Samsung pay work or on my existing phone or I will need to buy a new phone?

The software looks at your phone's regional setting, which determines your country, to determine whether a feature is legal for you to use. As a US regional phone user, Samsung Wallet is still available to me as I travel.

Also, this app is for US Samsung users only, so you may not get a good answer here about features and services in other countries.

To answer your question directly, it should work on your current phone, though it may not, due to the age of the device.

Thank you for your reply, yes I understand what your're saying. 
My question is, when this feature becomes legal in Egypt (which should be happening soon) will this feature be enabled on the same phone through a software update for example? Or I will need to buy a new phone?
