I'm trying to download new themes or icon packs and nothing works. I can tap. It makes the noise, but nothing happens. Attached is a gif of me trying to open these. Apps will open but not themes.

I've tried clearing cache and data and force closing before each, and even rebooted.

Using a Note 20 ultra, fully updated.

Not that this may be the cause or is related, but have you tried to see if your phone is up to date on the software updates? What model is your phone?

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with not being able to download themes and I would be happy to look into this further for you. I would recommend wiping your cache partition and repairing your apps. The system cache partition stores temporary system data. It's supposed to allow the system to access apps more quickly and efficiently, but sometimes things get cluttered and outdated, so a periodic cache clearing can help make the system run more smoothly. Give these steps at try:

β€’ Turn off the device.
β€’ Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key.
β€’ When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
β€’ An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
β€’ Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
β€’ Press Power key to select.
β€’ Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
β€’ When the wipe cache partition is complete, use the volume down key to select repair apps.

When the repairs apps is complete, highlight reboot system now and press the power button to restart the device.
