Stopped receiving messages after software update on 3/4

I did the software update on my Note 20 Ultra 5G on 3/4 and didn't receive texts from 4 (or more different people). 

I contacted my brother and he said that he had texted me back so I restarted the phone and could text people back.

I did not get the delayed texts however so I have no idea what I've missed. Is there a way to get those?

I've restarted, safe mode, cleared messages cache, switched apps, but to no avail

It's a long shot but might work. If your carrier bill, itemized what calls come in, try contacting your customer support, and see if they can tell you what numbers called during the time in question, and you could call or text them.
