I prefer my apps to be on the app page, not my home page. I used to be able to long-press on an app on my home screen and one of the options was "Remove from Home Screen". It wouldn't uninstall the app -- it would move them to the apps page (drawer, but I don't use that icon).
Now when I long-press it just says "Remove" and it apparently uninstalls the app.
Very frustrating. I just set up a new phone for my husband and he has four pages of home screen.
On which system? On my s20 fe, if I long press an app on my home screen the options are select, remove, and possibly Uninstall. I hit remove and it remove it to the app screen.
