can't adjust selective focus on s20

I have some photos that I took on the S9 using selective focus.

I upgraded to the s20. When I look at the photos 

The "adjust background blur" is shown below the photo but it says unable to open file not supported.

Is this common?

I've experienced this as well. Sometimes the photos can't be retrieve if they were deleted or corrupt.

I can see the photo but the adjustment background blur doesn't work
