After receiving the most recent security update on March 2nd my note 20 ultra has stopped working with my third party wireless charger. For the update it would fast wireless charge, but after the update it will now only charge regularly no fast charging.
My third party wireless fast charger no longer works as a fast charger. It does work as a charger but just at slow speed. The message I received says this wireless fast charger is not compatible with your phone so you are charging at the standard speed. This popped up as soon as the update was completed. My phone was literally on the charger at the time.
This same thing happened to me after system update 8? After the equally worthless updates 9 & 10, still not fixed. I hope this isn't just samsung trying to force us to buy their overpriced charger. That would make me switch brands for sure.
same here it stopped after the update. if you have the phone on when you connect it it says "this phone doesn't support fast wireless charging". on my wife's galaxy s10 all is good. the chargers i have are a FDGAO and a Seneo. they have been charging my note 20 fast before this update. it starts fast charging then it changes to regular charging.
i heard samsung devices does not support fast wireless charging on uncertified 3rd party wireless charger because so many people had issues. i think its better if you could check with the manufacturer and see if their product is certified with samsung for fast wireless charging.
or, you can report this issue on samsung members app and they might tell you if your product is compatible or not
