Why is there no option to stop an app from being able to use the internet? I don't think it's right that I have to root my phone or install a third party app to stop an app from being able to use the internet, when other phones have the ability by default. Can anyone explain why there's no option for galaxy phones?

To be clear there is an app that I would like to have local only, no internet access for any reason, but there is no option for it, or am I missing it? Any help is appreciated.

You can restrice the app from performing background activity which is your best bet. Open your Settings>Apps>Select your app>Battery>Toggle off "Allow Background Activity" Turn on airplane mode when you're in the app and it won't use internet
