This no longer works under the new release. It is locked down under Oreo. Only way to get it back is to root the phone. You now need super user entitlement to use the app to turn on the video calling entitlement.
Hey, @userhaEKZVxLbz, would you mind providing us with some information about your device?
* Model Number
* Baseband Version
You can find this information in Settings > About Phone. I would like to compile some additional information as to which devices are causing this. Thanks!
I know. We all would but Samsung has not even attempted to help us! I'm afraid we are simply stuck without video calling 😪 I'll likely never buy factory unlocked again and I may not buy Samsung! So disappointed in Samsungs customer service on this and many other issues. Sorry, I wish I could help.
I have an unlocked Note 8 from Best Buy and on the Verizon network. Upon my search I have found that the unlocked version of the Note 8 has missing features depending on who your carrier is. Now my solution for the video calling is Google Duo. It’s stable and easy to use. The app is available on Google Play store and the Apple App Store. *** Both parties need google duo for this to work.
OMG! You are a life saver that is what it is! That worked! Not as clear as HD calling but its great!! You have saved me from returning my retail purchased phone ! Thank you!
