Hi, I opened my phone today and the camera app is crashing. When I used *#0*# to open the tests and ran the Mega Cam test, I got "Warning: Camera Failed".
The camera worked perfectly fine yesterday. Any idea what happened? I have not dropped the phone.
I have tried:
1) Clearing the Camera app data and cache
2) Clearing the phone Cache
3) Opening the phone in Safe Mode
4) Factory Resetting the phone
It is an SM-N950F/DS
So I see that you have tried the troubleshooting steps I would have suggested. Since the issue is still present, from my experience, it may be a hardware issue that needs to be seen by a certified technician.
I would call 1-800-SAMSUNG so they can direct you to a local certified shop or mail the device in for repair.

So, I tried that. The problem is I bought this phone when I lived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and now I'm living back in Canada.
When I called 1-800-SAMSUNG, the agent basically said because of that, I'm out of luck. Canada won't fix it because it's not a Canadian model and I can't ship it back to Dubai.
Do I have any other options?
