Password required before powering off

I was looking for this, thanks. But thieves have always removed sim card as well. Ill invest in a $1000 phone if it mechanically locks the pin from releasing the sim card when the phone is locked. 

Sure, that has wear and tear written all over it but im sure theres a work around or some other solution.

Im just a normal man with ideas.

For powering off it requires but not when restarting. Might as well leave it open.

The setting  is in secure lock screen settings. Turn on local network and security setting and its done!

hope this helps.. for note 9 users..go to your settings search for biometrics and security.. click on it.. after which you search for secure startup.. this feature activates the password request option before tune off.. while phone is locked.
