Problems with Smart Switch

Hi there,

I'm hoping someone can help.

I've been using Smart Switch for years to sync the calendar on my mobile (Samsung Calendar app on Galaxy Note 8) with my PC (outlook 365 running on Winodws 10).

Today when I sync it seems to sync to the PC fine: All my calendat entries from my mobile are on there. BUT it doesn't synce back to my phone. Consequently I now have a blank diary. When Smart Switch is performing the sync back again it get's to 54% (presumably the first 50% is the sync to my PC from my phone) and then stops with a message saying: "Sync cancelled due to an error". No error message, no support code. Nothing!

Can anyone suggest anything that I can try please?

Did you check to ensure that you have enough internal storage remaining on your phone?

I have loads of memory (24Gb)

Have you tried clearing the cache on the Smart Switch application on the phone? You can do so by going to Settings>Apps>Smart Switch>Storage>Clear Cache

 

Have you tried a different cable when connecting to your PC?
