I understand how frustrating this is. Try clearing the cache partition of the phone. This will clear any corrupt files without deleting your data.

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Power key.
  3. When you see Samsung Galaxy A11, release the Power key but continue holding the Volume Up key.
  4. When you see the Android Recovery screen, release the Volume Up key.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
  6. Press Power key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
  8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
  9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

If the battery is still draining and the phone is still getting hot, try testing the phone in Safe Mode. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

If these steps do not resolve your concern, the final troubleshooting step would be to do a complete backup and factory reset of the phone. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

Finally, if all troubleshooting is unsuccessful, it is recommended the phone be evaluated by a certified technician. For service options, please reach out to us via one of the following options: 1. does it have the same behavior in safe mode?

submit an error report on members app > + button > error report or take it to nearest service center (ubreakifix or samsung care store)
