Ever since the last update my phone won't stay connected to my WiFi.  All my other devices work fine.  I've sent in error reports with no response.  Any suggestions?

have you u tried it in safe mode? 

what's your current software version? about phone > software info > last 4 characters of build number

Last 4 are BUH3 and no I haven't tried in safe mode. How do I do that?

Instructions for putting your device in safe mode are at https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

If that doesn't work, I would try resetting your network settings. **This does not factory reset your phone, just the network settings** To do that, navigate to: Settings > General management > Reset.
Tap Reset network settings.
Review the info then tap Reset settings.
To confirm, review the info then tap Reset.

You can contact Samsung directly for help and request repair for free if the device is still under warranty (1 year from purchase). For more info on Samsung's technical support and repair visit https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/
