A20 After October 2022 update 2G only

After installing the 10/22 oftware update my Samsung A20 it will only connect on 2G.

I had to manually force this in the Connections Settings.

If I set it to Auto (2g, 3g, 4g, lte) the phone does not provide data over cell and must be rebooted several times per day to have any cell service.

Real bummer if you have to reboot your phone to dial 911 in an emergency.

I have a Samsung A21 with the same update, same carrier, no problems with the A21.

Wait until the new updates are available and if you want to solve it quickly, then you can try to reset your device, but make sure to backup your data before performing the reset.

Fixed it.

This is a Republic Cellphone.

Steps:

1. Remove Republic App
2. Reboot phone
3. Reset network settings

4G LTE now works.
