Other Mobile DevicesI've recently faced wet port (IP567 water resistant) detected and took the phone to an Samsung service centre. As for the service chit they have replaced SM-A526B P, SM-A52F E, SM-A526B VMA052. They haven't charged since this is still under warranty. But they have factory reset the device and all data lost. Is it require to reset the device at this scenario?

Possibly not ...
However, they may have a procedures handbook that states to do so ... it's also probable the phone wouldn't boot properly and required a reset

This has happened to me multiple times. I just have the port time to dry and plugged back in with no issue or warnings.
