I would try to drain the battery dead then not charge it for a day then plug it in that night but don't let it power on and if it keeps doing it take to phone to be serviced
If you don't want to take it in for service yet, and it seems like a software issue, try going into safety mode to see it might've occurred due to a third party issue. If it continues in safety mode, send in a report to SSM and they should be able to look at your logs to determine what the issue is. Submit an error report after replicating the issue Samsung Members app > Get help > Send feedback > Error reports
